Os dados foram coletados em uma empresa florestal no Município de Santa Maria das Barreiras, Pará, a qual utilizava um trator agrícola acoplado com um mini skidder para o arraste de madeira. As condições biomecânicas do trabalho foram avaliadas através da aplicação de um check-list para avaliação simplificada das condições biomecânicas do posto de trabalho. Para a avaliação biomecânica foi utilizado o Modelo Biomecânico Tridimensional de Predição de Posturas e Forças Estáticas (3DSSPPTM), da Universidade de Michigan. Os resultados evidenciaram que a máquina avaliada apresentou péssimo padrão ergonômico, entretanto não evidenciaram risco de lesão a coluna vertebral dos trabalhadores, embora existe grande probabilidade de lesões nos membros inferiores (joelhos e tornozelos) e superior (ombros), sendo esta maior na fase da atividade que consiste no engate das árvores e sua extração, devido a posturas forçadas, inadequadas e por longos períodos de tempo. Desta forma, conclui-se que a utilização de máquinas adaptadas para o arraste de madeira apresenta elevado risco biomecânico de desenvolvimento de LER/DORT nos trabalhadores e que tal risco está associado, principalmente, a movimentos repetitivos de flexão associada à rotação de tronco e posturas de trabalho estáticas e assimétricas.The aim of this study was to perform a biomechanical assessment of wood skidding using adapted machines in order to identify the ergonomic hazards to which workers are exposed. Data were collected from a forestry company in Santa Maria das Barreiras, Pará, which used an agricultural tractor coupled with a mini skidder to skidding wood. Biomechanical conditions of work were assessed by applying a checklist for simplified assessment of biomechanical conditions of the workplace. For biomechanical evaluation, the Three-Dimensional Static Strength Prediction ProgramTM (3DSSPPTM) from the University of Michigan was used. The results showed no risk of injury to the workers' spin The results showed that the machine evaluated presented a bad ergonomic pattern, but did not show risk of injury to the workers' spine, although there is a high probability of injury to the lower limbs (knees and ankles) and upper (shoulders), this is greater in the phase of activity that consists in the coupling of trees and their extraction, due to forced, inadequate postures and for long periods of time.
