BETWEEN TATAMI MATS AND ACCEPTED: OVERVIEW OF SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTION ON JUDO IN PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE PERIODICS

Resumo: The present article aims at mapping the production of Judo knowledge published in Portuguese language. Faced with this, indexed articles were listed in the following databases: Lilacs and Medline, Scielo and Capes Journal Portal. There were 51 articles distributed between 1998 and 2014. The themes that most interested the researchers were those of Training and Health, corresponding, together, to 57.14% of the total production. Despite the predominance of the mentioned axes, a diversity of research approaches was observed contemplating psychological aspects; social, cultural and historical factors; sport initiation and categories of bases; nutritional; and administration finance / public policies. It is concluded, therefore, that there is a broad scenario for an area that intends to consolidate scientifically, being necessary the growing of studies supported in the other ways to approach the sport, ascending these productions quantitatively and qualitatively.

Ante esto, se enumeraron los artículos indexados en las siguientes bases de datos: Lilacs and Medline, Scielo y Portal of Capes Journals. Hubo 51 artículos distribuidos entre 1998 y 2014. Los temas que más despertaron el interés de los investigadores fueron Capacitación y Salud, que en conjunto correspondieron al 57,14% de la producción total. A pesar del predominio de estos ejes, encontramos una diversidad de enfoques de investigación que contemplan aspectos psicológicos; social, cultural e histórico; iniciación deportiva y categorías de base; nutricional y administración financiera / política pública. Se concluye, por lo tanto, que existe un amplio escenario para un área que pretende consolidarse científicamente, siendo necesario el crecimiento de estudios apoyados en las otras formas de acercarse al deporte, aumentando estas producciones cuantitativa y cualitativamente. O presente artigo visa traçar um panorama da produção do conhecimento sobre Judô publicados em periódicos de língua portuguesa. Diante disso, elencaram-se artigos indexados nas seguintes bases de dados: Lilacs e Medline, Scielo e Portal de Periódicos da Capes. Encontraram-se 51 artigos distribuídos no período de 1998 a 2014. As temáticas que mais despertaram interesse nos pesquisadores foram as de Treinamento e Saúde, correspondendo, juntas, a 57,14% da produção total. Apesar do predomínio dos referidos eixos, encontrou-se uma diversidade de abordagens de pesquisas contemplando aspectos psicológicos; sociais, culturais e históricos; iniciação esportiva e categorias de bases; nutricionais; e administração financiamento/políticas públicas.
