Resumo: The aim of the work was to identify and analyze the perspectives of coaches in women's football in Brazil regarding the construction of their narratives about the present and the future in/of the profession. Five coaches working in women's football in series A and B of the 2021 Brazilian championship were interviewed. The research took a qualitative approach and a descriptive-interpretative characteristic. The results highlighted considerations regarding the present marked by difficulties in maintaining work, machismo, low wages, as also, the future settled in persistence in the profession and hopes surrounding the career of coaches in Brazil. It is concluded that, even in the face of great barriers, the coaches are proud to belong to this space and see the future of the profession and the sport with positive expectations.

Fueron entrevistados cinco entrenadores que actúan en el fútbol femenino en las series A y B del campeonato brasileño de 2021. La investigación tuvo un enfoque cualitativo y de carácter descriptivo-interpretativo. Los resultados resaltaron consideraciones sobre la actualidad marcada por dificultades para mantener el trabajo, machismo, bajos salarios, así como, las perspectivas de futuro establecidas en persistencia en la profesión y esperanzas en torno a la carrera de los entrenadores en Brasil. Se concluye que, aún frente a grandes barreras, los entrenadores se sienten orgullosos de pertenecer a este espacio y ven el futuro de la profesión y del deporte con expectativas positivas.O trabalho teve como objetivo identificar e analisar as perspectivas de treinadoras no futebol de mulheres no Brasil acerca da construção de suas narrativas sobre o presente e o futuro da/na profissão. Foram entrevistadas cinco treinadoras atuantes no futebol de mulheres das séries A e B do campeonato brasileiro de 2021. A pesquisa assumiu a abordagem qualitativa e a característica descritiva-interpretativa. Os resultados evidenciaram considerações a respeito do presente marcado por dificuldades de manutenção do trabalho, machismo, baixos salários, bem como, de perspectivas de futuro assentadas nas persistências na profissão e esperanças em torno da carreira de treinadoras no Brasil.
