SWINGING WITH GYMNASTICS FOR ALL: APPROACHES AND SINGULARITIES

Resumo: Capoeira and Gymnastics for All (GfA), polysemic body practices and with different historical trajectories, are present in different social contexts and under different forms of expression. The present work aims to identify and analyze the possible relations of consonance and dissonance that exist between Capoeira and GfA, from different aspects of their configurations. It is a bibliographic research, structured in three categories of analysis established a priori (GIL, 2007), referring to the concept, character and characteristics of the practice. It was possible to identify the existence of similarities with regard mainly to the demonstrative and creative character beyond singularities related to their historical trajectories, body techniques and the prerogative of rehearsal in GfA and improvisation in Capoeira. These results point to the expansion of the study on the theme and trigger interesting work possibilities relating both practices beyond what has already been done.

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo identificar y analizar las posibles relaciones de consonancia y disonancia que existen entre Capoeira y GPT, desde diferentes aspectos de sus configuraciones. Es una investigación bibliográfica, estructurada en tres categorías de análisis establecidas a priori (GIL, 2007), en referencia al concepto, carácter y características de la práctica. Fue posible identificar la existencia de similitudes con respecto principalmente al carácter demostrativo y creativo, además de las singularidades relacionadas con sus trayectorias históricas, técnicas corporales y la prerrogativa de ensayo en GPT e improvisación en Capoeira. Estos resultados apuntan a la expansión del estudio sobre el tema y desencadenan interesantes posibilidades de trabajo relacionadas con ambas prácticas más allá de lo que ya se ha hecho.A Capoeira e a Ginástica para Todos (GPT), práticas corporais polissêmicas e de trajetórias históricas distintas, estão presentes em diferentes contextos sociais e sob diferentes formas de expressão. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo identificar e analisar as possíveis relações de consonância e dissonância existentes entre a Capoeira e a GPT, a partir de diferentes aspectos de suas configurações. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, estruturada em três categorias de análise estabelecidas a priori (GIL, 2007), referentes ao conceito, caráter e características da prática. Foi possível identificar a existência de aproximações no que tange principalmente ao caráter demonstrativo e criativo, além de singularidades relacionadas às suas trajetórias históricas, técnicas corporais e à prerrogativa do ensaio na GPT e do improviso na Capoeira.
