The goalkeeper is one of the players that integrate the defensive system against the 5x4+G attack (line-goalkeeper), a strategy commonly used by coaches in the final minutes of the match to increase the chances of scoring goals. Therefore, the objective of this study was to describe the tactical-technical performance of the elite futsal goalkeeper in facing the 5x4+G. The sample consisted of 27 (4.5±5.61) actions of four goalkeepers, taken from six games of the Futsal League 2021 (semifinal and final stages). The scenes were edited, analyzed and described. The main results indicate that, defensively, the goalkeeper, in most cases, executed partial defenses with takedowns, with hands or feet, with kicks, mostly low and at half height, from medium and long distances. , taken from the central region. In addition, he covered and intercepted passes. Offensively, he started counterattacks with shots and finished on goal from his own field. Two situations are particularly worrying, as they led to four of the five goals conceded: when he abandoned his goal to make covers and when his team lost the ball and he had to face the counterattack of the counterattack. On the other hand, when he remained in his goal, the goalkeeper saved all 17 shots. It is concluded that the goalkeeper has a high and diversified demand for defensive and offensive actions at this moment of the game. The findings are relevant as they provide coaches with information specific to these requirements, indicating possible paths into goalkeeper training guidelines to face the 5x4+G attack.
