“territory” and “health” in the context of a pandemic

Resumo: This article intends to analyze the contentious languages used in the field of politics to deal with the disputes for a territory that the Mapuche Tehuelche people have been experiencing. We aim at understanding how the meaning orientations have changed in the context of the confinement due to COVID-19 pandemic and how new ideology chains of “health” and “territory” have emerged, deepened, and given a new meaning to the gap between the communities and the state about previous conflicts for territory.

Se propone entender cómo en el contexto de aislamiento por la pandemia del COVID-19, las orientaciones de sentido cambiaron y se generaron nuevos encadenamientos ideológicos en torno a la “salud” y el “territorio” que potenciaron y resignificaron la brecha existente entre las comunidades y el Estado en relación con los conflictos territoriales preexistentes.O artigo tem como objetivo analisar a linguagem contenciosa habilitada no campo da política para resolver as disputas territoriais que atravessa o povo Mapuche Tehuelche na Argentina.
