Resumo: In this paper we intend to investigate the concept of nostalgia and how this longing for the past is converted into images and sounds in Netflix original titles. From a broad study of original titles produced by Netflix, which began in 2013, this work will focus on the particularities of streaming media in the construction of audiovisual narratives, emphasizing the productions that uses nostalgia as a dramatic and visual argument. Finally, we propose a debate on the new studies carried out in the field of historiography and social communication regarding the relationship of audiovisual media with nostalgia.

A partir de um estudo amplo de produções originas feitos pela Netflix, iniciadas no ano de 2013, este trabalho se atentará às particularidades da mídia streaming na construção de narrativas audiovisuais, dando ênfase às produções que se utilizam da nostalgia como argumento dramático e visual.
