Resumo: This article aims to establish a relationship between the concepts of social imaginary, proposed by the Polish historian Bronislaw Baczko an d field, the French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu. Starting from the social imaginary conception as a syste m of this symbols in daily life, that give it real value and concrete, this cate gory can be inserted into an arena of conflicts and disputes between classes or fractions thereof with a view to achieving views world or their hierarchies, relevant space to Bourdieu's field concept.
