Resumo: This work aims to highlight the family and political capital of the leaders of the National Democratic Party, a political association founded in 1927 by members of the Liberating Alliance of Rio Grande do Sul and by São Paulo politicians from the Democratic Party of São Paulo, in the context of contesting the oligarchies hegemonic, accused of promoting a political game full of vices, such as familism, electoral fraud and restrictions on the right to vote for the majority of the population.
