Resumo: With the overload of urban systems caused by disorderly population growth, cities face difficulties in maintaining quality infrastructure that meets the needs of citizens. In an attempt to alleviate these problems, some neighborhoods are better supplied than others, resulting in a deficit of public facilities in certain regions and a high demand for urban mobility. In view of this problem, an intervention project focusing on urban mobility is proposed on Jamil Basmage Street, in Campo Grande/MS. The project is based on concepts developed by Jane Jacobs, Jan Gehl and Raquel Rolnik, in addition to suggestions from the prefecture and consultation with the population. It is expected that the automobile will not be the main transport mode choice and that the use of active and collective modes will be encouraged.

It is expected that the automobile will not be the main transport mode choice and that the use of active and collective modes will be encouraged.Com a sobrecarga dos sistemas urbanos causados pelo crescimento desordenado populacional, as cidades enfrentam dificuldades em manter uma infraestrutura de qualidade que atenda as necessidades dos cidadãos. Na tentativa de amenizar estes problemas, alguns bairros são mais equipados do que outros, ocasionando em um déficit de equipamentos públicos em determinadas regiões e alta demanda da mobilidade urbana. Tendo em vista essa problemática, é proposto um projeto de intervenção com foco na mobilidade urbana na Rua Jamil Basmage, em Campo Grande/MS. O projeto é baseado nos conceitos discutidos por Jane Jacobs, Jan Gehl e Raquel Rolnik, além das sugestões da prefeitura e da consulta à população.
