Resumo: Telework is a growing reality, requiring the guarantee of the right to disconnection to preserve the health and quality of life of the worker. Telecommuting, driven by the technological revolution and the COVID-19 pandemic, has radically transformed the way people carry out their professional activities. However, this transition has brought to the fore crucial issues related to the balance between the personal and professional life. The objective of this final paper is to investigate telework as a way to rethink labor relations and analyze their impact in the right to disconnection, seeking to identify strategies to promote a healthy work environment, balancing professional demands and adequate rest. Therefore, the research method used was the deductive one, developed from the bibliographic research. The main effects analyzed by not disconnecting were isolation, tiredness and stress, which end up triggering mental health damage, such as burnout syndrome. Therefore, telecommuting has brought significant benefits, but also challenges related to the right to disconnect. Preserving this right is essential to ensure the health and well-being of workers in the environment of digital work of the twenty-first century. Keywords: teleworking; disconnection; mental health; worker; burnout.
