However, studies on forms and availability of P in these soils are scarce. The objective of this study was to evaluate the different forms of inorganic P and their relationship with some attributes of carbonatic soils in the Pantanal of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. Hedley’s sequential fractionation scheme was used to evaluate the forms of P in soil profiles: Kastanozems (profiles P1 and P3) and Gleysol (profile P2). Total P contents were similar in the three profiles, 3782–5637 mg kg–1 , with mean values of 22% for organic P and 46% for inorganic P (P.i). The P.i results indicated that in the profiles there was a predominance of inorganic forms of P in the following order: P-NaOH 0.5 mol L–1 > P-NaHCO3 > P-NaOH 0.1 mol L–1 > P-HCl, that is, adsorbed to microaggregates, labile, adsorbed to oxides and precipitated with calcium (Ca), respectively. The highest values of total organic P were verified in the surface horizons, with high correlation with total P contents. Residual P contents were high in all profiles, representing 29.0–33.3% of the total P, being correlated with CaCO3 contents. The studied profiles had high contents of labile P, with the highest values in the fraction P.i-NaHCO3, possibly associated with the processes of reduction of iron during the periods of floods, making the adsorbed P available. The contents of P.i-NaOH 0.1 mol L–1 , a moderately labile fraction adsorbed to oxides, showed few differences compared to the non-labile fractions associated with Ca (P.i-HCl). Possibly, organic matter was bound to Ca, inhibiting the formation of precipitates of Ca with P and making P available for the more labile fractions.porUniversidade Federal de Mato Grosso do SulUFMSBrasilSoil ResearchCNPQ::CIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRASecondary carbonateFlood cyclePhosphorus fractionationOrganic matterIron reductionForms of inorganic phosphorus in carbonatic soils in the Pantanal of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazilinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/articleOliveira, Naelmo de SouzaSchiavo, Jolimar AntonioLaranjeira, Laís ThomazMoraes, Eloise Mello Viana deLima, Miriam FerreiraNunes, Geisielly PereiraPereira, Marcos Gervasioinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Repositório Institucional da UFMSinstname:Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS)instacron:UFMSTHUMBNAIL!Soil research 2021 (2).pdf.jpg!Soil research 2021 (2).pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg1698https://repositorio.ufms.br/bitstream/123456789/4189/4/%21Soil%20research%202021%20%282%29.pdf.jpg927bc7e4433c0a58b3fb10b757b5801eMD54TEXT!Soil research 2021 (2).pdf.txt!Soil research 2021 (2).pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain49211https://repositorio.ufms.br/bitstream/123456789/4189/3/%21Soil%20research%202021%20%282%29.pdf.txte87e94bbc45bfa6ab1eb240c089bb5c5MD53LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain; charset=utf-82031https://repositorio.ufms.br/bitstream/123456789/4189/2/license.txt9671aa5ac42cb06edaf75013367dfe04MD52ORIGINAL!Soil research 2021 (2).pdf!Soil research 2021 (2).pdfapplication/pdf782001https://repositorio.ufms.br/bitstream/123456789/4189/1/%21Soil%20research%202021%20%282%29.pdff5ece39a8b68b137f09233ee77aa5c20MD51123456789/41892021-12-07 03:01:28.789oai:repositorio.ufms.br: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ório InstitucionalPUBhttps://repositorio.ufms.br/oai/requestri.prograd@ufms.bropendoar:21242021-12-07T07:01:28Repositório Institucional da UFMS - Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS)false |
