Resumo: This undergraduate thesis presents a case study that analyzes the organization of data related to the evolution of yerba mate production from 1990 to 2016. The data was obtained from the authors Landau, Silva, and Torres (2020) and the official website of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). The Power BI software was used to organize and present the data in a clear and dynamic manner, facilitating decision-making processes. The organization of the data allowed for the visualization of various materials in a clear and objective way, highlighting the socioeconomic importance of yerba mate and its cultural significance not only in Brazil but also in Paraguay and Argentina. The study also demonstrates how technology and its tools are of paramount importance in various spheres, including data organization, which can optimize and favor the development of human work.
