Resumo: This article is a study on human sexuality and its implications on child development. To this end, we present an overview of human sexuality in starting from the discussion of works related to the areas of biology, sociology and psychoanalysis. Below we identify themes of human sexuality in the fields of experience and in the Learning Objectives for Early Childhood Education of the Cutting Edge Curriculum Porã, analyzing the nature of the didactic actions that guide teaching practice. You the results point to the predominance of focused learning objectives/skills in aspects of identity formation and respect for diversity. It is completed by importance of initial and continuing teacher training for sexuality education human, since such training provides theoretical and didactic knowledge relevant to active participation in the construction of broader programs, which increasingly recognize more, human sexuality in its physiological, social and cultural complexities.

Para tanto, apresentamos um panorama da sexualidade humana a partir da discussão de trabalhos relacionados às áreas da biologia, sociologia e psicanálise. Na sequência, identificamos tópicos de sexualidade humana nos campos de experiência e nos objetivos de aprendizagem para Educação Infantil do Currículo de Referência de Ponta Porã, analisando a natureza das ações didáticas norteadoras da prática docente. Os resultados apontam para o predomínio de objetivos de aprendizagem/habilidades focadas em aspectos formadores de identidades e respeito à diversidade.
