O ENSINO DE GEOGRAFIA NO CENÁRIO DE REFORMAS EDUCACIONAIS: UM ESTUDO A PARTIR DA REDE MUNICIPAL DE EDUCAÇÃO DE AQUIDAUANA/MS

Resumo: | In the last six years, Brazil has witnessed a neoliberal-conservative offensive acting in all areas of society, especially in public education. These policies see school as a business, and are being configured as a way to transmit doctrines and dominant ideologies. In this context, education based on exclusive competencies for the market has been prioritized, with a tendency to intersect rules as individuality and morality, transposed by ultra-conservatives. On that way, this paper aims to analyze the expansion of conservatism and its interference in brazilian education along the neoliberal political-economic model, as well as the problems for education, specifically for the teaching of Geography, in school curricula. It is important to mention that schools of the municipal network of Aquidauana/MS are used as a spatial profile. This work is based on the historical and dialectical materialist method and uses bibliographic, documentary and field analyses as research techniques. In this process, theoretical conceptions that deal with this phenomenon as an hostile of unprecedented ambit were highlighted. It was recognized that the neoliberal agendas seek to align education with the agenda of foreign capital and to restrain the school objectives to the exclusive needs of the market. At the same time, conservatives seek to make critical education unviable for their own interests. All this in a constant process of reforms, which have dodged democratic debate, as is the case of the elaboration of the Common National Curricular Base (BNCC). According to the BNCC, which addressed the Reference Curriculum of the State of Mato Grosso do Sul and the Curricular Reference of Basic Education of the Municipality of Aquidauana, a serious problem identified regarding the decharacterization of school Geography, refers to the relationship of teaching with standardized content, decontextualized and emptied in theory and in political-social aspects. In this construction, there is an ongoing process of decharacterization of the public school, in which the Geography has been directly affected, because it offers to the students, from the spatial reading, a critical and emancipatory understanding of the world - a vision that diverges the present political needs. Aquidauana-MS.Nos últimos seis anos, presencia-se no Brasil uma ofensiva neoliberal-conservadora atuando em todas áreas da sociedade, especialmente na educação pública. Essas políticas pensam a escola como uma empresa, além de estarem se configurando como forma de transmissão de doutrinas e ideologias dominantes. Nesse contexto, tem-se priorizado a educação baseada em Competências exclusivas ao mercado, com uma tendência a intersecção de preceitos como a individualidade e moralidade, transposta por ultraconservadores. Portanto, este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a expansão do conservadorismo e sua interferência na educação brasileira junto ao modelo político-econômico neoliberal, bem como as problemáticas para a educação, em específico para o ensino de Geografia nos currículos escolares. Cabe destacar que se utiliza como recorte espacial as escolas da rede municipal de Aquidauana/MS. O trabalho baseia-se no método materialista histórico e dialético e utiliza como técnicas de pesquisa análises bibliográficas, documentais e de campo. Nesse processo destacaram-se concepções teóricas que versam sobre esse fenômeno como uma ofensiva de alcance jamais visto. Foi identificado que as pautas neoliberais buscam o alinhamento da educação com a agenda do capital externo e o estreitamento dos objetivos escolares com as necessidades exclusivas do mercado. Paralelamente, os conservadores buscam a inviabilização da formação crítica em prol de seus interesses. Tudo isso em um constante processo de reformas, as quais se esquivaram do debate democrático, como é o caso da elaboração da Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC). Conforme a BNCC, que versou sob o Currículo de Referência do Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul e no Referencial Curricular da Educação Básica do Município de Aquidauana, um grave problema identificado no que concerne a descaracterização da Geografia escolar, refere-se à relação do ensino com os conteúdos padronizados, descontextualizados e esvaziados na teoria e nos aspectos político-sociais. Assim, pode-se identificar que há um processo vigente de descaracterização da escola pública, na qual a Geografia tem sido afetada diretamente, pois oferece para os educandos, a partir da leitura espacial, a compreensão crítica e emancipatória do/no mundo - visão que entra em confronto com as necessidades políticas atuais.
