According to research carried out by the Institute of Applied Economic Research (Ipea), released in February 2023, in Brazil there are more than 281 thousand people living on the streets, the reasons for living in this environment are countless and it all depends on the social context of every citizen. Consisting of three episodes, the series of podcasts “Those that your eyes don't see”, addresses what the lives of four homeless people are like in the city of Campo Grande – MS. In each story we try to make the listener imagine the physical characteristics of the characters, how they live their daily lives, in addition to covering topics such as government aid, shelters and Covid-19. Two other expert sources also participated, social worker Michelly Moura, who explained the role, her work, and physical education teacher Gerson Domingos, who worked during the pandemic period helping homeless situation people. The series also highlights the difficulties and violence that this population living, like invisibility, both for the family and for society as a whole. The podcast format was chosen because it is practical and easy to access, allowing individuals to listen to the content anywhere. Regarding the sources, the podcast was also chosen because it does not expose their image, making them feel more comfortable during the interviews.
