AQUIDUANA-MS 2023 TERENA FIRST MARKETS OF “KALI LÂVONA” Cristiano Pereira Mendes Summary The article's theme is the Terena market traders from Aldeia Lagoinha (Kali Lâvona), located in the Taunay-Ipegue Indigenous Land, in Aquidauana Mato Grosso do Sul. Its general objective is to show the continuity in the present time, of an activity considered traditional, and carried out by women of that ethnicity, through bibliographical research and fieldwork. It presents as a theoretical-methodological reference the new indigenous history, from a decolonialist perspective, through which non-hegemonic voices are registered and the contemporary indigenous presence in Brazilian society is visible, from which their struggles and resistances are part. The article is divided into three parts, the first presents an introduction, containing the theme, justification, objectives and theoretical-methodological references. In the second, a brief historical contextualization of Kali Lâvona (Lagoinha) is presented, in the third, the experiences narrated by the stallholders who agreed to participate in the research are reported, as well as the analysis of the reports collected. The research allowed recording the continuity of the market trader activity and the vivid experiences resulting from this work. Keyword: Terena Feirante, Decoloniality, Resistance.
