Análise bibliométrica da produção científica na área de ensino de ecologia

Resumo: | Ecology is the scientific study of the distribution and abundance of organisms and the interactions between living beings and the environment where they are inserted. In education, Ecology is fundamental for one to understand its insertion in natural relationships and phenomena, understanding that it was not constituted as an entity outside of “nature”, but inserted in it itself. This perspective accentuates a notion of belonging and environmental awareness, stimulating the search for actions that do not intensely affect the dynamics between living beings and their environments. Within this context, the teaching of Ecology has a role in fostering the formation of a city that has a broader understanding of the natural world and its interaction with man; And still, the formation of cities capable of making informed decisions on the conservation and management of natural resources. The Ecology teaching is challenging because it deals with a series of complex issues, current ones that directly affect the life of all living beings. In addition to understanding the concepts, the teaching of ecology requires observation and interpretation of the natural environment, allowing the understanding of the laws that govern the ecosystems and the distribution of living beings. In this way, understanding how the teaching of ecology is being treated, both in scientific production and in the classroom, will be able to contribute to a better understanding of the practices developed and two challenges that will be met. This research is organized in a chapter built in the form of a scientific article. In such a way that Chapter I set out as an objective to observe by means of bibliometric analysis, using the Scopus, Web of Science and Scielo platforms as a scientific research being developed in the field of Ecology teaching. |

No Ensino, a Ecologia é fundamental para que o aluno compreenda sua inserção nas relações e fenômenos naturais, entendendo que ele não se constitui como uma entidade fora da “natureza”, mas inserida na mesma. Nessa perspectiva, acentua-se uma noção de pertencimento e de sensibilização ambiental, estimulando a busca de ações que não afetem de forma intensa as dinâmicas entre os seres vivos e seus ambientes. Neste contexto, o ensino de Ecologia tem como papel propiciar a formação de um cidadão que tenha compreensão mais ampla sobre o mundo natural e sua interação com o homem; e ainda, a formação de cidadãos aptos à tomada de decisões fundamentadas sobre conservação e manejo dos recursos naturais. O ensino de Ecologia é desafiador por tratar de uma séria de assuntos complexos, atuais e que afetam diretamente a vida de todos os seres vivos. Além de compreender os conceitos, o ensino de ecologia exige observação e interpretação do ambiente natural, permitindo a compreensão das leis que regem os ecossistemas e a distribuição dos seres vivos. Dessa forma, compreender como o ensino de ecologia vem sendo tratado, tanto na produção cientifica quanto na sala de aula, poderá contribuir para um maior entendimento das práticas desenvolvidas e dos desafios a serem alcançados. Esta pesquisa está organizada em um capítulo construído na forma de artigo científico.
