Resumo: | Faced with the constant need to develop new construction systems that answer the requirements of safety, durability, environmental comfort and economic access, the cement-stabilised self-compacting earth (CSCE) presents itself as a promising technology. However, there is no technical specification about this material, which makes it necessary to deepen the study on its physical-mechanical properties. In view of this, this research aimed to propose a method for the dosage of CSCE applied in the constructive system of monolithic walls of buildings. For this purpose, we defined the necessary steps for the CSCE dosing study process by means of adaptation of dosing methods for cementitious materials; and realized the study of the behavior of mixtures of soil + cement + superplasticizer additive + water in the fresh and hardened states for the formulation of diagrams that indicate the contents of water, cement and additive required for CSCE dosage. The results culminated in obtaining an equation that helps to predict the mechanical behavior of the CSCE and a dosing diagram that correlates the cement:soil factor with compressive strength. These results led to a proposal for a dosing methodology focused on optimizing the CSCE composition versus the required mechanical performance of the material, whose application limits are mixtures with sandy and/or clayey soil for construction of monolithic walls of buildings. Keywords: monolithic wall, physical-mechanical characterization, fluidity, superplasticizer additive |
