This work addresses the creation of a hotel in the city of Bodoquena, close to the Serra da Bodoquena National Park, aiming to serve tourists interested in ecotourism. Strategically located, the hotel seeks to alleviate tourist demand in Bonito. Thus, the monograph explores the emergence and evolution of ecotourism and considers the environmental care necessary for the implementation of the project. The importance of Serra da Bodoquena stands out, an area with enormous ecotourism potential, and the need to respect preservation laws. The work details the geological characteristics, flora and fauna of the region. The proposed hotel aims to serve different audiences, offering varied accommodation. It aims for partnerships with the local community, generating jobs and promoting Mato Grosso do Sul cuisine. Also noteworthy is the emphasis on sustainability, using sustainable technology and materials in architecture.
