Resumo: The ABC curve tool has been used by several companies around the world, with the aim of ensuring better results, increasing competitiveness and profitability. In this context, the present study analyzes the impact of the ABC curve and the financial gains through a proposal to implement the tool in a construction materials store. To this end, a study was carried out on certain stored materials proposing the application of the ABC curve and identifying possible challenges, where it is possible to notice failures in stock management. In carrying out this work, the main concepts, tools and actions on inventory management were systematized, allowing the proposed implementation of the ABC curve to result in improvements in competitiveness and profitability.

Neste contexto, o presente estudo analisou o impacto da curva ABC e os ganhos financeiros por meio de uma proposta de implantação da ferramenta em uma loja de materiais de construção. Para isso, foi realizado um estudo em determinados materiais estocados propondo a aplicação da curva ABC e identificando os possíveis desafios, onde é factível perceber falhas na gestão de estoque.
