FERTILIZANTES ORGANOMINERAIS COMO ALTERNATIVA A ADUBAÇÃO MINERAL EM MUDAS DE CAFEEIRO

Resumo: Organomineral fertilizers have sufficient effectiveness and sustainability to become a viable and efficient alternative to conventional mineral fertilizer in coffee cultivation. The use of organomineral fertilizers promotes improvements in soil and plant fertility, generating environmental benefits and, consequently, making productivity more sustainable over time. Thus, the study aimed to evaluate the efficiency of organomineral fertilizers as an alternative to conventional fertilization on the initial growth characteristics of coffee seedlings. The experiment was conducted in the experimental area of the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, Chapadão do Sul-MS campus. A randomized block experimental design was used, with thirteen treatments and four replications. The treatments were composed of control, mineral fertilizer and organomineral fertilizer in different proportions. In mineral fertilization, Urea, MAP and KCl were used and organomineral fertilizers in the formulation of 16-04-08 and 08-04-16, both for minerals and organominerals, doses equivalent to 25, 50, 75 and 100% of the recommendation and consisted of the isolated application of mineral and organomineral fertilizers. Assessments included plant height, stem diameter, relative chlorophyll index, crown length between the row, crown length within the row. The treatment that uses a dose of 50% of organomineral fertilizers 08-04-16 stood out for favoring all the variables studied. The use of mineral and organomineral fertilizers was favorable to the initial growth of coffee seedlings in the field.

O uso de fertilizantes organominerais promovem melhorias na fertilidade do solo e das plantas, gerando benefícios ambientais e, consequentemente tornando mais sustentável a produtividade ao longo do tempo. Assim, o estudo teve como objetivo avaliar a eficiência de fertilizantes organominerais como alternativa a adubação convencional em características de crescimento inicial das mudas do cafeeiro. O experimento foi conduzido na área experimental da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul, campus de Chapadão do Sul-MS. Foi utilizado um delineamento experimental em blocos casualizados, com treze tratamentos e quatro repetições. Os tratamentos foram compostos por controle, adubação mineral e adubação organomineral em diferentes proporções. Na adubação mineral foi utilizado Ureia, MAP e KCl e os fertilizantes organominerais na formulação de 16-04-08 e 08-04-16, tanto para os minerais ou organominerais, foram utilizadas as doses equivalentes a 25, 50, 75e 100% da recomendação e consistiram na aplicação isolada de adubos minerais e organominerais. As avaliações incluíram altura da planta, diâmetro do caule, índice relativo de clorofila, comprimento de copa na entrelinha, comprimento de copa na linha. O tratamento que utiliza a dose de 50% de fertilizantes organominerais 08-04-16, se destacou por favorecer todas as variáveis estudadas.
