Resumo: This Final Paper is a personal reflection on the artist's notebook as a creative support in the process of building my visual poetics. Without going into a detailed historical analysis, it presents notebooks by different artists from different places and times, seeking to broaden my understanding of the various possibilities of this device. Cecília Almeida Salles (2008; 2011) and Fayga Ostrower (1987; 1995) underpin a large part of my theoretical reflections and poetic decisions, which, in the end, led to an object notebook, presented as a result of the research.

Sem enveredar por uma análise histórica detalhada, apresenta cadernos de diferentes artistas, oriundos de lugares e épocas distintas, buscando ampliar a compreensão sobre as várias possibilidades deste dispositivo.
