The research deals with the landscape and tourism, with a study on the Environmental Protection Area (APA) Estrada Parque de Piraputanga, located in the districts of Camisão and Piraputanga, in the municipality of Aquidauana and district of Palmeiras, in the municipality of Dois Irmãos do Buriti , Midwest of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. The objective of this research is to analyze the dynamics of the landscape and tourism on Estrada Parque de Piraputanga, focusing on the characterization of the landscape, the identification of the tourist offer and the tourist profile, as well as the spatialization of the offer and its attractions and resources, in addition to the analysis of the impacts on tourism in the area and the production of a tourist map of the locality. The methodological theoretical contribution adopts the line of humanistic geography that contemplates the evolution of geographic studies on landscape and systemic analysis to understand the whole. As a methodological procedure, the research was developed through a quali-quantitative approach, documentary research and survey of primary and secondary data, from research already developed in the area. The results sought to contribute with data and reflections resulting from the dynamics of the landscape in the study area, considering the need to look at sustainability in view of the objectives of creating the said Conservation Unit, starting from an analysis of the impacts that contribute and do not contribute to the conservation of the area, as well as being positive or negative for tourism. It was found that the APA has in its natural resources and in the landscape the motivating element of the trips made, mainly due to a regional demand, but also that the area has been suffering strong pressure with the increase of agriculture and the increase of soy in the areas. adjacent. The tourist offer has accommodation and food and drinks, but few attractions, mostly natural resources that already have visitation, but without any tourist structure. In view of the identified offer, a tourist map was prepared with the spatialization of the most representative places. An intense change in the landscape was also identified, from the different uses and completion of the asphalt work, to the implementation of a winery in the Pantanal.
