Resumo: The present work aims to address the issue of inserting immigrant’s voting rights in Brazil. In light of the current situation of globalization and the increase in migratory flows, it is necessary to rethink democracy to make it compatible with human rights. To this end, the rights of international immigrants must be analyzed, so that they can exercise their decisions. The research is based on a comparative analysis of international law and South American constitutionalism, exploring the experience of constitutionalism in the Brazilian legal system, taking into account the Proposed Amendments to the Constitution (PECs) related to this topic. Argumentative criticisms appear throughout the text, as the right to vote increased international immigrants' access to political rights. On the other hand, questions remain about national sovereignty and the fundamental elements of the State. Keywords: Vote. Citizenship. Politic Rights. Human Rights. Immigrants.

Immigrants.O presente trabalho tem como objetivo abordar a questão do direito de voto dos imigrantes no Brasil. À luz da situação atual de globalização e do aumento dos fluxos migratórios, é necessário repensar a democracia para a tornar compatível com os direitos humanos. Para este fim, os direitos dos imigrantes internacionais devem ser analisados, a fim de que eles possam exercer suas decisões. A pesquisa parte da análise comparativa do direito internacional e do constitucionalismo sul-americano, explorando a experiência do constitucionalismo no ordenamento jurídico brasileiro, levando em consideração as Propostas de Emenda à Constituição (PECs) relacionadas a este tema. Críticas argumentativas aparecem ao longo do texto, visto que o direito de voto aumentou o acesso dos imigrantes internacionais aos direitos políticos.
