Rotulagem de alimentos importados : análise dos rótulos de massas alimentícias comercializadas em mercados de Cuiabá – MT

An analysis of 18 pasta labels found in supermarkets in the greater Cuiabá-MT was carried out, the supermarkets used to obtain the sample were randomly selected, after which the labels were checked against the current Brazilian legislation that recommends the formulation and standardization of food labels. Among the results to the total were 18 brands of imported pasta sold in Cuiabá supermarkets, among these 10 did not present nonconformities and the other 8 presented. After evaluation of the labels was identified among the main nonconformities the lack of translation of the label into the Portuguese language, lack of translation tag, absence of listing of ingredients and nonconformities as to the validity of the product. Among all the points found, the non-conformity of the label with regard to the language of the country of commercialization and the absence of the identification tag are items that require a more rigid inspection at the time of entry within this product in Brazil.
