Resumo: This final project aims to track the creation of a medium-length film script inspired by the Magical Realism movement. Magical Realism, originating in 20th-century Latin American literature, is characterized by the fusion of fantastical elements with everyday reality, known for its captivating and poetic narratives, with notable figures including Gabriel García Márquez and Isabel Allende. In this process of creating the audiovisual script, we will face unique challenges, such as conveying the magical and poetic atmosphere of Magical Realism and exploring the differences between literary and cinematic language. However, this endeavor also offers creative opportunities, allowing for the use of cinematic techniques to build a universe where the real and the fantastical interlace harmoniously. Furthermore, throughout the project, there will be a historical and social contextualization of the Magical Realism movement, highlighting its importance and influence on Latin American and global culture.

O Realismo Mágico, originado na literatura latino-americana do século XX, é caracterizado pela fusão de elementos fantásticos com a realidade cotidiana, destacando-se por suas narrativas cativantes e poéticas, cujos expoentes incluem nomes como Gabriel García Márquez e Isabel Allende. Nesse processo de criação do roteiro audiovisual, enfrentaremos desafios únicos, como a transmissão da atmosfera mágica e poética do Realismo Mágico e a exploração das diferenças entre a linguagem literária e a cinematográfica. No entanto, essa empreitada também oferece oportunidades criativas, permitindo o uso de técnicas cinematográficas para construir um universo onde o real e o fantástico se entrelaçam de forma harmoniosa.
