With the growing demand for irrigation for agricultural areas in Brazil, we observed a parallel growth in the market of irrigation systems to serve landscape areas. To depends on a topographic survey for the implementation of the system, the planialtimetric survey comes as an alternative to the recognition and probing of the study space for its insertion. This work presents a case study about the planialtimetric survey of a square in a closed condominium in the city of Barra do Garças – MT, aiming to show the relevance of this, as well as the saving of water resources, social impact, reporting the techniques, materials and software used. Applying the method of tachyometric irradiation of topographic points, using an electronic theodolite and recording the data of the topographic points in the field, two experiments were needed to improve the accuracy of the survey, which is significant in the compatibility of projects. We use software to create electronics spreadsheets for manipulation and calculation of the horizontal and vertical distances required for the search, to then locate the points on AutoCAD software, generating the planimetric and planialtimetric plan of the square. The result of the survey was reasonable to allow the calculation of the area of the main points of the park, which allows a better intervention and application of future improvements for its managers.
