The objective of this work is to report the clinical case of a mare that presented in continuous anestrus. We describe a case of granulosa cell tumor in ovary of a Quarter Horse mare of four years, which was admitted to the department of Animal Reproduction of the FMVZ Unesp – Botucatu in the twenty-fourth of April of this year. It was reported that the animal presented right ovarian enlargement, and after examination by the veterinarian responsible for the animal and the residents of the department, was found Tumor of Granulosa cells in right ovary. The granulosa cell tumor is one of the most common ovarian conditions, it plays an important role in depreciation and of the reproductive efficiency of equine females. Considered the most common tumor diagnosed in the ovary of mares, with considerable significance between the neoplasms of horses. An abnormal mass was identified by transretal palpation and ultrasonography in the right ovary, where the tumor was suspected.
