Resumo: From the perspective of the three-way government-university-enterprise propeller, it is observed that governmental actions can direct innovative processes in a given region. Initiatives of development agencies and entities focused on the innovation stimulus capitalize several actors in the productive sector. In this reasoning, this research aimed to analyze the diffusion of a municipal fair for the promotion of science, technology and innovation in the municipality of Rondonópolis, state of Mato Grosso, with a focus on identifying how the actors participating in the FECITI technology fair perceived their results in its daily life, emphasizing its positive and negative aspects and the expectations of continuity of the actions coming from the event. Thus, the research was qualitative and descriptive, with interviews with members of the companies, educational institutions and municipal bodies involved. The results point to the importance of this innovative environment in the municipality, fostering the creation and development of projects in the area of ST&I, promoting the ecosystem change and leveraging its economic development.

Iniciativas de órgãos de fomento e entidades focadas no estímulo inovacional capitalizam diversos atores no setor produtivo. Nesse raciocínio, essa pesquisa objetivou analisar a difusão de uma feira municipal para promoção da ciência, tecnologia e inovação no município de Rondonópolis, estado de Mato Grosso, com o foco na identificação de como os atores participantes da feira tecnológica FECITI perceberam os seus resultados em seu cotidiano, frisando seus aspectos positivos e negativos e as expectativas de continuidade das ações advindas do evento. Sendo assim, a pesquisa foi de abordagem qualitativa e descritiva, com realização de entrevistas com membros das empresas, instituições de ensino e órgãos participantes.
