Qualidade da atenção pré-natal em unidades saúde da família : satisfação e expectativa das gestantes

Prenatal care promotes maternal and neonatal well-being through the follow-up of the pregnancy-puerperal cycle, with health promotion and prevention actions, early diagnosis and treatment of pathologies that can occur in the period. The evaluation of this assistance becomes essential in the situational diagnosis and in the planning of actions to adjust public policies to reality. Thus, this study aimed to evaluate the expectation and satisfaction of pregnant women with the prenatal care quality in Family Health Units (FHU) of Sinop-MT. This is an exploratory descriptive research carried out in the sixteen Family Health Units of the municipality. The data collection took place from December 2017 to May 2018, with an instrument containing identification information, sociodemographic data and other information obtained by Likert scale. The data were organized in Office Excel 2013 spreadsheets, being performed the descriptive analysis. A total of 145 pregnant women undergoing prenatal follow-up at FHUs participated in the study. More than half were multigravida (96 / 66.2%), with a mean age of 25 years, ranging from 15 to 39 years, presenting gestational age between 18 -28 weeks (44.1%) and 55 (37.9% ) performed five or more prenatal consultations. It was identified the predominance of high expectation for all subscales, showing that most of the pregnant women expected to be attended by a nutritionist and a social worker during prenatal care and wanted to be followed in the delivery by the same professional who performed the prenatal care. More than half reported the need to transpose the biomedical model, offering biopsychosocial care, fully and personalized. There was a high satisfaction of pregnant women with professional care and low satisfaction with the care system. It was concluded that the evaluation of the expectation and satisfaction of the pregnant women with the prenatal care in the FHU in Sinop-MT resulted in a predominance of high expectation and satisfaction, and the evaluation allowed the identification of still deficient aspects related to the structure and organization of the service, which are valued by the pregnant women and can be improved, contributing to higher satisfaction rates and, consequently, greater qualification of prenatal care in the city.
