Due to the serious problem of water scarcity throughout human history, economic and population growth has resulted in multiple and varied uses of groundwater and surface water resources. Cultural development also causes other needs to be attributed, resulting in diverse and large-scale impacts. The objective of this work is to analyze the financial economic feasibility (reduction of costs with water tariff) through the use of rainwater for non-potable purposes, in the years 2017 and 2018 of a public company in the city of Várzea Grande-MT. An alternative is the rainwater harvesting system, as it allows the decrease of water supply tariffs and reduction of good quality water consumption.
