Resumo: The soybean mealworm (Myochrous armatus) is a pest that has been increasing its incidence and consequently its importance in agribusiness. Therefore, the objective of this review was to optimize the knowledge about the management of this pest, aiming to demonstrate the alternatives of the different types of management already used, and possibilities to be used for the control of the soybean mealworm. The work consisted of demonstrating how pest management works, thus demonstrating product information, on farm seed treatment and industrial seed treatment (IST), as well as the use of natural enemies in pest control. Also informing the positioning of different types of active ingredients (AI) for the control of soybean mealworm. Also demonstrating the association of management strategies with biological and chemical as a more effective alternative.

Portanto, o objetivo dessa revisão foi otimizar os conhecimentos sobre o manejo dessa praga, visando demonstrar as alternativas dos diferentes tipos de manejo já utilizados, e possibilidades a serem usadas para o controle da cascudinho-da-soja. O trabalho se constituiu em evidenciar alguns manejos para o cascudinho-da-soja, demonstrando assim, informações de produtos, tratamento de sementes on farm e tratamento de sementes industrial (TSI), também como, autilização de inimigos naturais no controle da praga. Informando também o posicionamento de diferentes tipos de ingredientes ativos (IA) para o controle do cascudinho-da-soja. Demonstrando também a associação de estratégias de manejo com biológicos e químicos como uma alternativa mais eficaz.
