Always looking for the continuous improvement of rock mass stabilization in underground excavations, it was decided to create a checklist to monitor the activity of mechanized bolting using long resin cartridges, in an underground mining located in the municipality of Peixoto de Azevedo, in the state of Mato Grosso, belonging to the company P.A. GOLD Mineração e Metalúrgia S/A. Because it is a very complex activity and susceptible to errors, the need arose to draw up a list of the main standard operations, containing the technical reference parameters within the controllable variables of the activity, and then compare it with the operation in the field. Therefore, it was later possible to measure the degree of success of the operations and to propose some short-term solutions for the failures found. Nineteen checklists were completed in the field during bolting activities, accounting for 108 mechanized bolting events using synthetic resin. It should be noted that in some bolts installed and accompanied by the check list, they had good efficiency in the start-up test, which allows us to state that the checking of operations should be a good practice in mining and contribute to guaranteeing stability and safety in excavations in underground mines.
