Resumo: The objective of this research was to analyze the socio spatial segregation process in the Francisca Garcete de Almeida Residential Garden. Where it was approached about the segregation process, housing projects like My House My Life and the socioeconomic profile of its residents was drawn. The study became important to analyze the reproduction of the Francisca Garcete de Almeida Residential Garden area that was rural and now is urban and has another function for the space that is housing and also to evidence the increase of rondonópolitana segregation. A study was made of the history of the area where the Francisca Garcete de Almeida Residential Garden is nowadays, as well as open interviews with the ancient residents in their vicinity of the residential area, seeking more knowledge of the place. Then a socio-economic questionnaire was applied with the residents of the Francisca Garcete de Almeida Residential Garden, to trace the socio-economic profile of some residents. Maps, satellite images, tables and graphs were developed to make it a better understanding of the work. An alternative to reduce socio-spatial segregation is to make the city grow in an egalitarian way, following proposals of the municipal master plan, when making residential, occupy the empty spaces that are within the urban network. However the study pointed out that people chose to live in the Francisca Garcete de Almeida Residential Garden is a result of socio-spatial segregation in recent years in Rondonópolis. due to the value of the house having been an affordable price. TheyO objetivo desta pesquisa foi analisar o processo de segregação sócio espacial no Jardim Residencial Francisca Garcete de Almeida. Onde foi abordado sobre o processo de segregação, projetos de habitação como o Minha Casa Minha Vida e foi traçado o perfil sócio econômico de seus moradores. O estudo se fez importante para analisar a reprodução da área do Jardim Residencial Francisca Garcete de Almeida que era rural e que agora é urbano e tem outra função para o espaço que é de moradia e também para evidenciar o aumento da segregação rondonópolitana. Foi realizado um estudo da história da área onde hoje é o Jardim Residencial Francisca Garcete de Almeida, bem como entrevistas abertas com os moradores antigos nas suas proximidades do residencial, buscando mais conhecimentos do referido local. Depois foi aplicado questionário sócio econômico com os moradores do Jardim Residencial Francisca Garcete de Almeida, para traçar o perfil sócio econômico de alguns moradores. Foram elaborados mapas, imagens de satélite, tabelas e gráficos para que tornasse uma compreensão melhor do trabalho. Uma alternativa para diminuir a segregação sócio espacial é fazer com que a cidade cresça de uma forma igualitária, seguindo propostas do plano diretor municipal, ao se fazer residenciais, ocupar os espaços vazios que estão dentro da malha urbana. Entretanto o estudo apontou que as pessoas escolheram morar no Jardim Residencial Francisca Garcete de Almeida é resultado da segregação sócio espacial nos últimos anos em Rondonópolis. devido ao valor da casa ter sido um preço acessível.
