Resumo: | Anaplasma platys is the etiologic agent of canine infectious cyclic thrombocytopenia (CBT) belonging to the family Anaplasmataceae and to the genus Anaplasma sp. In the state of Mato Grosso, the agent has been detected by molecular means without any phylogenetic analysis, aiming in this study to identify the agent in suspect dogs and elucidate the genetic and phylogenetic information of the same in the region. Of the samples tested in this study, 12 (85.7%) were A.platys positive, totaling 1.71% of all reactions. The amplification of the sequences showed that the samples were 100% identical to each other and showed similarity to strains from different countries, using the groESL gene, which proved to be efficient in detecting the A.platys agent, confirming its presence in the region and allowing the characterization of the same that despite the little genetic variability there is a wide geographic distribution that is related to the climatic zone and presence of the potential vector. |
