Resumo: | Boron is crucial in the production of cauliflower. This study aimed to evaluated the productivity and quality of cauliflower cv. Sharon subjected to different sources and boron doses. The design was a randomized block design (RBD) in 4x2 factorial design in subdivided plots with three replications, totaling 24 installments. , Each portion consists of 9 plants spaced 0,90 x 0,8m. Treatments consisted of two sources of boron (Borax and Boric Acid) and four boron doses (0, 2, 4 and 6 kg ha-1).They were evaluated fresh weight of inflorescence (MFI), total productivity (PT), commercial productivity (PC), head diameter (DC) ,; inflorescence deformation (DI), specific density of the inflorescence (DEI), average cycle (CM), and the inflorescence rating category, class and tonality. The Sharon cultivate has no influence the source of boron on the growthand development as MFI, PT, PC, DC, DI, DEI and CM. The boron doses provided greater accumulation of MFI, PT, PC and DC. The MFI was not influenced by the boron source, with values of 0.412 and 0,498kg plant-¹ for boric acid and borax, respectively, and the maximum value of MFI 0.755 kg plant-¹ was obtained with 6 kg ha-1 of boron . PT was not affected by boron sources, with values of 5.77 and 6.97 t / ha-¹ for boric acid and borax, respectively, and maximum PT value of 10.56 tons / ha-¹ was obtained 6 kg ha-1 of boron. The PC was not influenced by the boron source, with values of 4.68 and 5.74 t / ha-¹ for boric acid andborax, respectively, and maximum value of PC 8.17 ton / ha-¹ was obtained 6 kg ha-1 of boron. The DC was not influenced by boron sources, with values of 11.54 and 14.64 cm for boric acid and borax, respectively, and a maximum of 15.29 cm was obtained with 6 kg ha-1 of boron. |
