Resumo: The Earth is undergoing climate change resulting from increased concentration of gases that cause the greenhouse effect in the atmosphere. Global warming promotes the increase in average global temperatures over the past few days, which is caused by human practice, although there are disagreements about it in the scientific field. The main cause of the climate problem that affects the entire planet is intensifying the greenhouse effect, natural phenomenon responsible for maintaining the heat in the earth and that is showing greater intensity because of air pollution resulting from human practices. Signs of climate change seem obvious. Scientists have proved that there was an increase in global temperature in the last hundred years. With the hottest planet, some climate phenomena become more frequent and stringent, such as hurricanes and tropical storms caused by the increase in the temperature of ocean waters and others. Solutions to curb global warming need to be developed urgently, because this is the greatest challenge and the greatest threat to the future of humanity. This study aims to clarify the importance of debating what is global warming, its causes and what you have done today to stop this possible global meltdown. It is concluded that global warming is real and present in the world society is quite evident that, despite efforts in all international meetings by heated debates, scientific research production, prompting reports about the seriousness of global warming, which is denotes, analyzing their own data shown here, is that, unfortunately, no country is willing to cede its development tied to a goal of reducing greenhouse gases, as this would entail huge economic losses.
