Due to the urbanization process, cities have been growing and, in most cases, in a disorderly way, and without urban planning. This lack of planning reflects impacts on the environment and problems for the population. Through urbanization, areas formerly covered by vegetation are giving way to cities, with large impermeable areas, which incisively modify the flow rates in the region, thus making it essential to have devices that capture and direct this flow correctly. However, cities and neighborhoods commonly suffer from flooding, as is the case of Loteamento Brisa da Mata in the city of Iporá-GO. Given the above, this work aims to analyze the system of the microdrainage system in the Loteamento Brisa da Mata, in Iporá-GO, through the survey and verification of the existing devices, in order to assess whether the respective structures meet, or not, a local rainfall demand. In this context, the work evaluated the efficiency of the main devices that make up the studied microdrainage system (guides, gutters, manholes and ditches), which allowed the verification of the inefficiency of the system, given the lack of devices and the existence of factors that can cause a typical collection of rainwater, causing degradation to the neighborhood, as evidenced by the exposed photographic record. After this observation, a new layout of the network was presented, with a greater number of storm drains and with the location of essential devices that were not found in the neighborhood, valuing the comfort and safety of users.
