This study aimed to analyze the behavior of Monte Alegre Formula and heat sources, comparing them with the forest fires in PARNA of Chapada dos Guimarães, from 2007 to 2015. The fire occurrence records (ROI's) They were obtained together to fire the management of the park and the monitoring of hot spots of the three satellites: AQUA TERRA, NOAA and the variables for the preparation of the cheerful bunch of formula were purchased at INPE's platform. the total of 65 fire was found, with an average of 7.22 per year. It was observed that 87.69% of fire records were validated within the methodology. Distributed by fire risk class, 60% are owned by very high risk class and 27.69% not fit in the high risk class, validating the effectiveness of the cheerful bunch of formula was sensitive to fire records occurred . The analysis of the number of fires with the number of hot spots, shows a greater sensitivity of the satellite Earth where the given values approached the number of registered fire occurrences in the park. Thus, it is concluded that weather satellites help in detecting fires in the Chapada dos Guimarães National Park, supporting important decisions for park management in combating and preventing forest fires.
