Resumo: | The yeast fungus Malassezia pachydermatis (M. pachydermatis) is of importance in human medicine and veterinary for performing Dinner way and sometimes in the pathogenic form. In veterinary medicine, this can cause particularly otitis and dermatitis in humans and may affect mainly immunocompromised patients and newborns, resulting from simple pustulosis, seborrheic dermatitis, tinea versicolor to fungemia. This study aimed to analyze the genomic polymorphism of M. pachydermatis samples the species Canis familiaris (domestic dog), Felis catus (Domestic Cat) and Myrmecophaga tridactyla (flag anteater). The samples were cultured in Sabouraud agar with chloramphenicol (100mg / l) and incubated at 37 ° C for a period of seven to ten days. The morphologically compatible with the yeast isolates were processed for DNA extraction and the PCR for specific gene of M. pachydermatis. When subjected to PCR, 06 (3.6%) were negative and 160 (96.4%) were positive. Of the 160 positive samples, 93 (58.2%) were from animals with clinical signs and 67 (41.8%) with no clinical signs. Of these 57 isolates confirmed the PCR were subjected to RAPD-PCR technique where they were distributed in 4 genetic groups where the types I and II were more frequent in patients animals and type III in normal animal, the type IV occurred equivalently in samples with clinical signs and no clinical signs. |
