Resumo: The main objective of this work is to show that the analysis of statements if used correctly and according to company size can help the same to stand in relation to others in the same industry or size, as it demonstrates the ability to pay and indebtedness, operating cycle, potential return on capital and earnings. Analysis of the financial statements consisted of an evaluation process of the company's situation aspects Economic, Financial and Balance. For the development of this research were used books, scientific articles and extracted content from the internet that report on financial and economic issues in companies. The analysis of the indices will be held as well as liquidity, profitability and structure through presentations of examples and tables statements. The analysis is extremely important for good management, because through it you can monitor and analyze if the decisions are reflecting the planned result.

A análise das Demonstrações Contábeis constituiu-se num processo de avaliação da situação da empresa em seus aspectos Econômicos, Patrimoniais e Financeiros. Para o desenvolvimento desta pesquisa foram utilizados livros, artigos científicos e conteúdos extraídos da internet que relatam sobre questões financeiras e econômicas nas empresas. Será realizada a análise dos índices bem como liquidez, rentabilidade e estrutura através de apresentações de exemplos e quadros demonstrativos.
