Resumo: The present work of conclusion of course is dedicated to the study of the International Criminal Court under the analysis of the reception and execution in front of the Brazilian legal-normative system. Thus, at first, a study will be carried out on the historical background of the Court and its contributions to the consolidation of a system of International Criminal Law. Subsequently, an assessment of the structural, principled and jurisdictional aspects attributed to the Court. Finally, emphasis will be given to the effectiveness of decisions in the face of Brazilian regulations windrows and examined the apparent incompatibilities between some provisions of the Statute and the Federal Constitution. In order to achieve the proposed objectives, the methodology was based on the literature review through scientific articles, doctrines, theses, dissertations and legal and jurisprudential analysis in order to proceed with the proper reasoning of the production.

Dessa forma, em um primeiro momento, foi realizado um estudo sobre os antecedentes históricos do Tribunal e suas contribuições para a consolidação de um sistema de Direito Internacional Penal. Posteriormente, uma avaliação sobre os aspectos estruturais, principiológicos e jurisdicionais atribuídos ao Tribunal. É analisada a efetividade de decisões perante às normativas brasileiras e examinadas as aparentes incompatibilidades entre alguns dispositivos do Estatuto e a Constituição Federal. Com a finalidade de alcançar os objetivos propostos, a metodologia pautou-se na revisão de literatura através de artigos científicos, doutrinas, teses, dissertações e análise jurídica e jurisprudencial com intuito de proceder a devida fundamentação da produção.
