The administrative nurse has a strong link between the team that coordinates and the direction of the institution, which makes him co-responsible in the organization he works for. In his work, he hides important managerial activities that link bioethics in terms of making precise decisions and human interventions. The scarcity of bibliographic materials is a stimulus for this dialogue. OBJECTIVE: To verify how the literature has been articulating bioethics in the situational process of nursing management. METHODS: This is a descriptive study, using an integrative review approach. The search source for the study was carried out in the SciELO Brasil database (Scientific Electronic Library Online), using the descriptors: “Nursing and Bioethics and Work”; “Nursing and Bioethics Assistance”; "Nursing Care and Bioethics" and "Nursing Processes and Bioethics". Articles published in the last 10 years (2009- 2019) were selected. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: Seven articles were selected, from the 77 found in the database, to compose the sample after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria. These articles were identified, characterized and categorized by means of tables and graphs. From the synthesis of the evidence it was possible to elaborate the categories in: “Historical context of the work”; “Professional nurse and its functions”; "Bioethics" and "Link between nursing, work and bioethics". Based on the selected articles, it was noted that work is a fundamental intervention in the life of the human being when institutionalized emerges as the production of goods and services, reinforcing our thinking on the theme of work, nursing and bioethics. Thus, all the articles found concerned bioethics, establishing the interface of the bioethics mechanism in the social relationship and the harmonization of individual and collective interests, respecting autonomy, valuing the human being, a product of the nursing work process. CONCLUSION: The nurse manager has an important role as co-responsible in the decisions and interventions through service in the institutions. Bioethical principles are exercised by bringing bioethics closer to the entire context of nursing in its work process, making the paths reflective and guiding the knowledge of nursing and its responsibility to humanity.
