Tolerância à dessecação e armazenamento de sementes de Enterolobium schomburgkii (Benth.) visando a classificação fisiológica

The conduct of the work was carried out in seed analysis laboratory of the Federal University of Mato Grosso - Campus of Sinop, with the objective of evaluating the germination of seed Enterolobium schomburgkii (Benth) when subjected to the method of mechanical scarification by sandpaper, to assess tolerance desiccation, to storage condition and get the physiological classification. The seeds were collected in October of 2014, and the tree matrix used in the collection is in a square downtown. In a first phase of experiments it was determined three incubation temperatures (25 ° C, 30 ° C and 35 ° C), five replicates of twenty five seeds, after it was verified the optimum temperature. A second phase of experiments was conducted considering it was considered three different storage conditions over a period of sixty days (room, cold storage and freezer), with the purpose to sort seeds on the physiological behavior. The results were submitted to the statistical analysis of variance and Tukey test to compare the averages of variables germination, percentage (G%) and germination speed index (GSI). The seeds were stored in a freezer (-5 ° C) it showed significant differences from the other storage conditions. According to the results of the test of desiccation and freezing, along with protocol, it could be concluded that the seeds of orthodox type.
