Resumo: In an agricultural planning it is important to know if there are enough inputs to reach certain levels of production of a set of cultures, considering that the inputs and their costs are limited. This work presents a mathematical modeling and a computational procedure that determines whether or not there is a vector of limited inputs: water depth and nitrogen dose, which allows reaching certain pre-set production levels, without exceeding certain available expenditure capital. in inputs. Iteratively, the implemented procedure uses the so-called “analytical center” of a closed and limited region as test points. The procedure was tested for a set of agricultural crops with data known in the literature, and the results obtained were satisfactory in relation to the requirements imposed on production and costs of inputs water depth and nitrogen dose.

Nesse trabalho apresenta-se uma modelagem matemática e um procedimento computacional que determina se existe ou não um vetor de insumos limitados: lâmina de água e dose de nitrogênio, que permita alcançar determinados níveis de produção pré-fixados, sem exceder determinado capital de gastos disponíveis em insumos. Iterativamente o procedimento implementado utiliza como pontos testes o chamado “centro analítico” de uma região fechada e limitada.
