CADEIA PRODUTIVA DO PIQUIÁ NO MUNICÍPIO DE SANTARÉM, ESTADO DO PARÁ, BRASIL

No Estado do Pará há uma deficiência de dados referentes ao mercado de muitos produtos florestais não madeireiros de valor local ou regional, dentre eles o piquiá. O presente trabalho objetivou descrever a cadeia produtiva do piquiá no município de Santarém, Pará. Foram aplicados 45 questionários semiestruturados. A pesquisa foi realizada nos meses de abril de 2015 a maio de 2016, baseando-se na safra do ano de 2015, com 15 comerciantes e com 30 famílias extrativistas. Foram identificados os principais componentes da cadeia produtiva e elaborado o fluxograma. Para analisar os ganhos nos diferentes elos da cadeia de comercialização, foi usado o conceito de margem de comercialização. Foi possível identificar quatro atores na cadeia produtiva do piquiá em Santarém: extrativista; extrativista beneficiador-comerciante; extrativista-comerciante e comerciante. Os produtos oriundos do piquiá consumidos no município de Santarém são oriundos do extrativismo e a mão de obra é familiar. O extrativista que vende os frutos para o consumidor final é o que obteve a maior margem de lucro. No município de Santarém existe alta demanda de mercado pelos frutos de piquiá.Palavras-chave: produtos florestais não madeireiros, recursos florestais, Amazônia. PRODUCTION CHAIN IN PIQUIÁ SANTARÉM MUNICIPALITY, PARÁ STATE, BRAZIL ABSTRACTIn the state of Pará there is a data deficiency for the many non-timber forest products of local or regional market value, including the Caryocar villosum. This study aimed to describe the production chain C. villosum in the municipality of Santarém, Pará, Brazil. Semi-structured questionnaires were applied. The survey was conducted from April 2015 to May 2016, based on the 2015 crop year, with 15 traders and 30 extractive families. They identified the main components of the production chain and elaborate flowchart. To analyze the different gains in the supply chain links, it used the concept of marketing margin. It was possible to identify four actors in the production chain of C. villosum in Santarém: extraction; extractive benefactor-dealer; extractive-merchant and trader. Those from the C. villosum products consumed in the municipality of Santarém come from the extraction and labor is familiar. The extractive selling the fruit to the consumer is what had the highest profit margin.
