Palavra-chave: acidez; sistema plantio direto, preparo convencional, química do solo.ACTIVITY ALUMINIUM ON THE SOIL SOLUTION OF A TYPIC HAPLUSTOX UNDER SOIL AND CROP MANAGEMENTS ABSTRACT The aim of this work was to evaluate the interaction of soil and crop managements in chemical attributes on soil solution concerning the percentage of activity and forms of toxic Al in two soil layers situated among 0 to 20 cm. The samples were from experiment conducted in Passo Fundo, RS, in a Typic Haplustox, after more than two decades of cropping, without limestone application. The experimental design was randomized block, in subplots scheme. The treatments consisted of: no-tillage (PD), minimum cultivation with chisel plow (PM) and conventional plowing with disk plow (PC). These were combined with crop rotations: wheat-soybean (R1); wheat- soybean/common vetch-sorghum (R2) and wheat-soybean/common vetch-sorghum/white oats-soybean (R3), to assess the effect of these rotations interactions with the soil management type on the grains yield (RG), in the crops dry mass(MS) and chemical attributes of soil solution concerning the percentage on activity and forms of Al toxic, in layers of 0 to 6.7 cm and 6.8 to 20 cm. There were no correlations between the RG and the MS and the soil attributes assessed, in both layers, even when differences in levels of chemical and physical constraint between the layers. Chemical attributes of soil solution were not influenced by the studied factors interaction, being slightly influenced by crop rotation. The PD provided the greatest values of dissolved organic carbon and lowest level and Al activity in soil solution. Keywords: soil acidity; no-till, soil plowing, soil chemistry.
