METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTIONS IN INITIAL TRAINING OF TEACHERS TEACHING SCIENCES IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (2006-2016)

Resumo: In this work we analyze the theoretical and methodological aspects present in the research on initial teacher training that teaches science in the initial years, from 2006 to 2016. For this, a research of State of Art was carried out in electronic data bases: Bank of CAPES dissertations and theses; CAPES Journals; and Google Scholar. With the scan found 55 scientific productions that addressed the theme, being 11 theses and 44 articles published in national and international journals. After filtering with the keywords - “teacher training”; "Science teaching"; and “Elementary Education” - 10 empirical works (02 theses and 08 articles) were selected, which were analyzed and classified in relation to the methodological orientations (quantitative paradigm, qualitative paradigm, socio-critical paradigm) of research in the area of Sciences and Mathematics. During the work, it could be noticed that: the research line initial teacher education remains in the process of expansion; referring to the methodological aspects was not object of analysis in any of the researches of state of the art considered; The research has predominance of qualitative paradigmatic orientation in the productions referring to the object of study in question. After these observations and clarifications, we note the urgency of the researches to have greater clarity and theoretical-methodological foundation in elaborating the scientific works.

Para tal, uma pesquisa de estado da arte foi realizada nas bases eletrônicas: Banco de dissertações e teses da CAPES; Periódicos da CAPES; e, Google Acadêmico. Com a varredura encontrou-se 55 produções científicas que abordavam a temática, sendo 11 teses e 44 artigos publicados em periódicos nacionais e internacionais. Após filtragem com as palavras-chave - “formação de professores”; “Ensino de Ciências”; e, “Ensino Fundamental” - selecionou-se 10 trabalhos empíricos (02 teses e 08 artigos), os quais foram analisados e classificados em relação às orientações metodológicas (paradigma quantitativo, paradigma qualitativo, paradigma sócio crítico) das pesquisas da área de Educação em Ciências e Matemática. Durante o trabalho, pôde-se perceber que: a linha de pesquisa formação inicial de professores permanece em processo de expansão; referente aos aspectos metodológicos não foi objeto de análise em nenhuma das pesquisas sobre estado da arte consideradas; as pesquisas têm predominância da orientação paradigmática qualitativo nas produções referentes ao objeto de estudo em questão.
