Resumo: In this work, we propose the application of a didactic sequence that makes use of a mobile application that aggregates activities with the main elements and devices within the scope of residential electrical installations, such as simple, parallel and intermediate switches, points of general and specific use, bells and photocells. The research seeks to assess, through the report of the didactic experience, if the adopted application fulfills the objective of being a useful tool in helping the learning process of the investigated.  The methodological approach to the content proposed by the didactic sequence is structured based on the profile of the investigated, who are students of the discipline of Electrical and Magnetic Materials of the Bachelor of Science and Technology course. A sequential outline of a short-term curriculum was elaborated with proposals for expository classes, virtual activities of the application in question, as well as the extra-room elaboration of a simplified residential electrical project. The results obtained in this research proved the didactic-pedagogical efficiency of the proposal, which allowed the teacher to monitor the students' productions during all the steps exercised in the classroom. The students reached satisfactory levels in the learning of the contents, as well as in the technical appropriation of a real application of the studied concepts, which is the elaboration of a residential electrical project.

The students reached satisfactory levels in the learning of the contents, as well as in the technical appropriation of a real application of the studied concepts, which is the elaboration of a residential electrical project.
